Let me say something about the rankings on BGP.There is endless work and discussion put into these rankings by people who have no agenda on who is #1 or who is #20. There are a lot of people involved and no one person makes the call. Group effort. There are no HOMERS involved. A lot of different scenarios are discussed and then the top 20 is made. Not one person involved with the rankings wants to have someone to low or someone to high. They just want it right and I have looked at a lot of other rankings over the years and this one is 99% of the time the closest.

I have said this on the girls side of rankings, the first 5 are pretty easy, then the waters can get really murkey after that. Rankings are for a fun discussion. If we all agreed this would be a boring site.

Thankless job, purple stokes it pretty good and makes it even more fun to fuss about the ranking. Keep up the good work and most importantly keep kicking sand in the face of the pretenders.

Then who are the folks that have input in doing the rankings and where are they from? We all know who does Cantrell, Lit, and AP.

Couldn't be further from the truth. As a Boyle County parent and fan, Bowling Green alum and a Warren Central supporter as long as Mitchell Dunn is there the teams I "hate" should be well known. :lol2:

Tell you what though, I know some folks. I'll make some calls and see if we can't get MoCo moved up a spot or two for you next week after they beat Henry Clay and Bryan Station.

About all I can tell you is that every region of the state is spoken for.

No thanks. I would like to think with a 23-1 record and 4-1 against BGP's top 20, our play has spoken for itself. But obvious it hasn't.

Gotta bring it every night. No top 20 team at full strength should lose by 29 points to an unranked team. LexCath has more wins against the top 20 than anyone in the state and is unranked at the moment. Gotta bring it every night or suffer the consequences.

My bad on copying the quote. If I had 39,000 posts on here I would know how to work this thing.

So when MoCo was #10 and lost 81-52 to Elizabethtown where should they have been ranked after that loss?

Can we not all admit that this was a horrible loss for an undefeated team that has strength of schedule concerns?

It's all good. Practice makes perfect and you gotta bring it every post.

It was a horrible loss. But we had 4 starters with two fouls on pine the whole 2nd qtr. went down 20 at half. It was over. We needed the loss and I'd say the coaching staff new it and really didn't put in a great effort after that. But we got crushed on the road two hours away on a sat night.

Oh and we should have been dropped to 13th and moved back to 9-10 after busting Wayne.

Montgomery should be able to ascend back up the rankings quickly.
