Brandon Hatton becomes the all-time leading scorer in 9th Region history.

Congrats to Hatton, while DH continues their streak.

Did BH get a T on the same night he set the record?

Hats off for the record. Very efficient scorer.

Yes, he got crushed upside his head on a layup , it should of been a "and 1" but no call . Hatton slapped the ground out of frustration. The stripes missed the call!

Hatton tied the record on an and one. Even though they announced that bucket tied the record, it was actually the free throw that tied the record.

It was the dunk attempt, where he made 1 of 2 free throws after being fouled hard, that broke the record. Really cool moment for not only BHatt but also his friends, family, coaches, and teammates. Coach Chevy and assistant Roddy have been apart of all 2,866 points.

Hatton finished with 25 but overshadowed is how well Adam Daria played tonight...27 points for the fellow senior.

Hatton had just 12 points going in to the 4th quarter. Hit about a 25 footer right in front of Dixie bench next to the press table to end the third and that carried over to the 4th quarter. This is something nobody will ever be able to take away from him. Congrats B!

Solid win over HC who battled throughout the game. Bezold and Schrand both made quite a few 3s that kept the Indians in it.

Daria played an extremely good game and it stinks for him that it happened on a day where Hatton broke the scoring record.

As for Brandon, I am extremely happy for him. To be the all time scoring leader for the 9th region is a terrific accomplishment. He still has quite a few games to go to extend the record as well. The kid has busted his hump for six years and because of that he has a D1 scholarship, scoring record, and atleast one regional championship to show for it.

I'm hoping the hard fall that BHatt took late in the fourth has no lingering effects as he has a lot more to accomplish this season.

Congrats to Brandon. I did notice on NKYsports that they included 6 years of varsity basketball for Brandon. I remember when Scott Draud played at Highlands there was a "big to do" about adding in Doug Schloemer's 6 years of varsity basketball. BTW, Draud broke Schloemer's 9th region record. The consensus was to only include the 4 years of high school for Doug. Interesting that they now allow 6 years. What changed?

.......

Did Daria not shower before the game? Literally no one wanted to be around him when he had the ball...weird. Kid has a nice stroke, and I love that floater by Rabe.

Nice work Walter.
