Belichick already whining

Featured Replies

Says Welker deliberately took out Talib.

What is great is ESPN showed how NE has made a living out of that type of play when teams play man to man on their recievers.

Stay classy Belichick.

Not really whining as much as he's simply taking a shot at Welker. They don't like each other. They didn't like each other when Welker was in New England.

If he was whining, he'd point out how they called an offensive PI on NE for running the pick play, which took them out of FG range, and then Denver ran the same exact play the next series (the one Talib got hurt on), and no flag was thrown. That would be whining.

All he's trying to do is take a shot at Welker, and possibly lighten his checkbook a little too.

Sounds like whining to me, but I do agree with what you said about he and Welker which never made sense to me. Welker has been huge for the Pats and I don't k ow if it's jealousy or what that started their problem with eachother but whether Bill wants to admit it or not, Welker was as important as Brady for that team for awhile.

No clue what happened that made them at odds. I'd venture it had something to do with Welker's personality not really gelling with BB's whole "don't give em anything" mantra. Wes is a character, I don't think he liked Bill putting a stop to that aspect of him. I'll definitely have to disagree that Welker was as important as Brady. He was a vital cog, but the team pretty much accomplished as much this year as they ever did with Welker. :idunno:

Sounds a bit like whining, but I honestly thought that Harbaugh threw more temper tantrums than a 2 year-old in the Seattle-San Fran game.

I really like Manning, Welker, Tamme, & both D Thomas and J Thomas. I watch as many Broncos games as I could this year, mainly because Manning was my $$$ league QB. But I thought it was extremely ironic that they called that on New England. Denver runs the pick play more than most basketball teams and rarely ever get a flag for it.

They did play in two Super Bowls with Welker on the team, so I don't consider it correct that they accomplished as much this year as they ever did with him. He's not as important as Gronk is, but tell me they wouldn't have benefited from him being a Patriot instead of a Bronco.

I don't care about either team, but the home teams definitely got the benefit of the whistle in yesterday's games.

I guess my point is, without Welker, they still make the Super Bowl the 18-1 season, and I think it's likely they make it 3 seasons ago too.

You take Brady away, and there's no chance they make the Super Bowl either of those years.

In those 2 super bowls if you take away Brady maybe New England wins those games.

Brady has gotten way too much credit for the pats SB wins yet gets excused for their post season losses. Did you know in the 3 SB wins the pats had their opponents avg'd scoring only 15 pts a game in the post season yet since those 3 wins in the post season the oats opponents avg over 22 pts a game?

I said it back then and I will say it again, the pats defense is what won those 3 SB's more than Brady.

I stopped reading after the bolded. Comical is the best way to describe that.

Did Brady kick your dog or something? Your hatred for him is comical, borderline creepy. :lol2:

Agreed. Saying they would have had a better shot without Brady is one of the funnier things I've ever read on this board.

It was the point that, especially in the last SB, Brady played bad. If you don't thnk he performed badly in that game with his poor throws then your bias toward him is even worse than I thought.

Where did I say that? I never once said Brady played great, or even good, in either of those Super Bowls. Stop putting words in my mouth. You do it all the time with people on here.

Saying if they didn't have Brady they may have won is just dumb. Do you even know who the backups on those teams were? They weren't winning without him under center.

Your obsession with Brady is unhealthy.

When you said "I stopped reading after the bold. comical...". Pretty much sums up your bias toward Tommy Boy.
