I thought the new Cubs mascot would look like Steve Bartman.

A lewd version of the mascot from a Deadspin photoshop contest was mistakenly aired on Comcast yesterday as the real mascot. Which just makes it all funnier. The video of the broadcast is awkward and hilarious.

That mascot has happy eyes and a smile, two things we haven't seen on the face of Cubs fans since the beginning of Game 6 of the NLCS.

I just looked that up, I'm tearing up from laughing so hard :lol2:

As a lifelong Cubs fan... this is the biggest free agent we've signed in 2 years.... Must. Be. Patient.
