January 13, 201412 yr My wife buys her clothes, then tells me I have bought her a present. Not quite the same, but works for both of us, because I am not sure I have ever bought anything that actually fit or was what she wanted.
January 13, 201412 yr Anyone have advice on buying clothes for your wife? I'll share what I've done for many years and it still works like a charm. When I arrive at the store of choice. My first question, where are your dresses in the $200.00 - $250.00 range. Style, color, long, short, none of this matters. My wife wares a size 8, I go to the size 4-5 dresses, grab the first one I see. Have it wrapped real nice. What is the first thing a woman does when she opens up clothes, she looks at the size, then the item itself. When mine looks at the size, she says, "you got me the wrong size again". My reply, "I held it up and it looked like it would fit you perfect" She gets all glowy, thinking I she her as a size 4-5. Then the magic, she takes that $200.00 dollar dress back and gets 3 dresses on sale for the same price. Pimp!
