Brossart wins 76-38. They'll face the winner of Bracken/Paris in the semis on Wednesday.

OUCH!!!

Sounded like Brossart completely dominated from start to finish.

Trentman had a big game. I think he scored 30+

Bach had 16.

What has happened to Augusta? I know Brossart is a top 3 team in the region but back to back poor showings.

They're missing a starter (Crawford) and graduated their post player (Kelsch). This isn't the same squad from last year. Sadly, I think they're just coming back to earth.

Another great team win by the Mustangs today. They dominated from the get go. I really think they are playing their best ball of the year right now.

Jennings was masterful with the rock, dealing out 7 assists, many of which made the crowd go ohhhh. He guarded Bach for most of the 1st quarter and held him in check. Rieger had the Bach defensive honors in Q2, once again limiting the Augusta point leader. Rieger had his 7 points and pulled down 5 boards as well. Hackworth had 8 and a handful of rebounds as well. Burns had 7 boards and 5 assists to go with his 18 points. Trentman took over defensive responsibilities for Bach in the 3rd period and continued to dominate offensively as he finished with 32. He had 7 boards and was 9-13 from the field and 14-17 from the foul line, (I'd use the term charity stripe but a few fouls early would not have been considered charity). Shannon and Kramer gave good minutes to help rest the Mustangs on the longer collegiate court. The Mustangs shredded the Panthers and the Brossart starters shot 70% from the field. Coach Code had a great game plan and the team executed it to perfection. Great effort and watch out if Brossart continues to hit on all cylinders like they did in this Saturday afternoon special. I never expected them to double up the score on Augusta.

Good luck to the Mustangs in thier quest to make the pilgrimage to Frankfort.

^ Nice summary.

Didn't expect Brossart to have much trouble, but wow.

Really wish we could see a Brossart/Moco matchup before the region tourney starts.

Marc Hardin's take on the game.

This score is a shocker! I was hoping to get to see this game to check out Bach and Trentman, but the day got away from me. Sounds like 2 of the best from the 10th squared off and the battle and the war was won by Trentman. Not much noise about Brossart but they are 16-1? Just goes to show you how talented a lot of teams are this year.

Brossart dominated this game every which way. Augusta tried to pressure a bit but Brossart didn't turn it over. Brossart kids are very smart with the ball and very unselfish. They passed up a lot of open looks to get "better" shots. Hard to find that at the HS level sometimes.
