How would you handle this, if you're the parent?

I guess it's all about perspective. Father of the kid vs owner of the dog.
In this case wasn't it one and the same?

Good lord yes, my fault entirely. I totally didn't get that part of the deal. It was his family that caught him. Jeez, I'd have a tough time with this one. I would do what everyone else said and get my son some help. I obviously didn't get the whole message and I'm an idiot.

However, I should clarify, if that some random kid screwing my pooch, I'd probably wore him out.

I read another article that stated that the accused was living with a female roommate who owned the dog. The article went on to say that she noticed her dog limping and fearful of her family so she put up cameras which caught her roommate in the act.

Not that any of that changes how sick the whole situation was.

I know I shouldn't laugh, but I did.

I also had to re-read as I didn't catch that it was his family's dog. If something like this could make sense that helps because all I could see was a stranger delivering pizza trying to have at it with a German Shepherd. I was left wondering how he left the scene "intact".

In my earlier reply, I took it as a family member was sexually abusing the family dog.

If it were not a family member abusing a family dog....my consequence would be OK, I get to pick the dog (as I have several). It wouldn't happen again as AllTell would surmise above.

If I caught that kid screwing my dog, would you suggest I just sit down and give him some advice?
