With the victory CovCath improves their record to 10-0 and next play the Bulldogs of Holmes at Holmes on Tuesday night Jan 7th with the tip-off coming at 7:30pm.

CCH was relentless on D attacking the ball with multiple players. The poor PG from HHS had to be worn out.

Hard to shoot it tonight. Hard to get a good look and when they did it often got swatted.

 

PG is solid for the Birds. Not a lot of skilled players offensively though. Tough to get a productive offense going.

 

You saw one team that had players that all play year round vs another that didn't have a lot of players who do. Plus, CCH just played at a warp speed as compared to the Birds.

Kudos to the Birds students who showed up tonight in support of their guy Ryan (?) Greene. Plus they stayed to the very end. Well done.

CCH played a very good basketball game and the players are to be commended. Shuh cleaned up anything that got close to the goal and number 42 was a beast around the basket. However the coach still had his son in the game when all the other starters were pulled with 4 minutes to go in the game. And he was still pressing the whole game. This was classless! I guess his son only had 10 points and he was trying to get him some more points even as Listerman had pulled all his starters.

I don't recall Nick shooting much in the 2nd half. He coasted tonight and decided to just gets others shots. He could get to the rim and get shots tonight whenever he wanted.

 

While I agree that I would have taken him out early 4th I don't think he was kept in to "get his."

Wow..the avg margin of victory the past 2 years has been 39 pts. You gotta feel for the players and coaches at Highlands. Poor BB Buten must be completely worn out.

 

CovCath is going to contend for the 9th Region title, mark it down. They have some tough kids with basketball skills.

Every single CovCath player had double digit playing minutes tonight except for Wichmann and it was his first game back playing in weeks!
