Final from Edgewood.

3 point game at half.

Big 3rd qtr for Dixie.

Hatton had 25 to 30.

Kunstek and Noble played well for St Henry. They are a really nice combo.

I really like Bolin from Dixie. Can be a factor for Dixie who doesn't get much offensively inside. Very long. Runs well. Big hops.

For St Henry I saw 3 young players I liked.

#22 Wallenhorst - Soph about 6'2. Lefty. Nice game.

#34 in the JV game. Looks like a frosh.

#21(I think) JV game. Got some minutes in the varsity.

Kunstek is putting together a very nice season.

Kunstek is putting together a very nice season.

Agreed. One difference I noticed is he takes good shots inside now. Last year he tended to throw up off-balance shots. Good footwork. Great drop step.

Plus he'll step out and nail a 3.

Dixie was just a better team tonight. Hatton did what he wanted and probably had 30.

Schreck played a nice game for Dixie (strong 3rd qtr) and got to the rim way too easy. Dixie plays a lot of players.

Strong game by both Kunstek and Noble for St.Henry. Didn't get a whole lot from the backcourt tonight.

Dixie wins the 3rd qtr 26 - 12.

Could a mod correct the thread title please?

Personally, for me, this game is the highlight of the season so far. I got to shake hands with both Walter and Clyde! I may not wash my right hand for a week!

And this is after meeting and talking with both Julius Randle and Rodrick Rhodes last week in Lexington.

Dixie looked good last night. When Schreck and Rabe were in there together, their offense really clicked and was tough to stop. Rabe and Schreck driving the lanes opened up so much for the other guys.

St Henry is a scrappy bunch but simply don't have the guard depth to handle Dixie. Hatton did what he wanted, scoring at all three levels and knocking down 3 consecutive 3's in a row in the first half.

Back to back 3 point plays by Dixie in the second half gave them a 9 point lead and they would never look back from there.

Bolin continues to improve and his length was a big factor at both ends last night.

Adam Daria also looked like his normal self last night.

Noble and Kunstek are one of the better inside duos in NKY, IMO. Maybe not top 5 but they compliment eachother well and provide a toughness to Coach Faust's team.

I really like Bolin from Dixie. Can be a factor for Dixie who doesn't get much offensively inside. Very long. Runs well. Big hops.

Glad you agree. Wallenhorst is going to be a player. I've been touting him since seeing him over the summer. Nice length for being a soph guard.

#21 is Green. He is going to be a solid player too. Played very well against Holmes. Doesn't make many mistakes and can score in multiple ways.

St Henry has some nice young talent with Green, Kunstek, Goetz, and Wallenhorst.

#21 is Green. He is going to be a solid player too. Played very well against Holmes. Doesn't make many mistakes and can score in multiple ways.

Alex Green is a nice athlete. Got an Honorable Mention in soccer, too.

Congrats to Dixie on the win.

Hatton is so enjoyable to watch.

No sense wasting a foul trying to stop him. He's going to make the shot anyway.

Bolin, Daria, Rabe and Schreck showcased their potential as well. Very nice, solid team.

No Plumber in the box score?

No Plumber in the box score?

He had some good looks---just not falling in. The last few games, Plummer and Rechtin have both been very consistent scorers from the outside, putting up big numbers. Just didn't happen last night.
