January 4, 201412 yr My High School did not have a cafeteria, we had 50 minutes to leave campus and get lunch everyday when I was in high school. There were several places within walking distance that we all ran to at lunch (until we were old enough to drive). My sophomore year somebody got smart and opened a arcade right next to the closest restaurant (Druthers) to the high school. This place was packed everyday at lunch and immediately after school...they had many of these games listed below. BTW Parents gave me $2.50 for lunch everyday, $1.50 got me 2 Druthers's hamburgers and a Coke, leaving 4 shiny quarters for the arcade!!! Galaga Dragon's Lair (Machine in the vestibule at work had 200 credits on it one night, asst mgr and I stayed a couple of hours after everyone went home playing this..I was about 16-17 at the time) Missile Command Space Invaders PacMan had enough patterns memorized to go about 30-45 minutes on one quarter NBA Jam Double Dragon Tron Centipede Tempest Star Wars...the one where you flew the X-Wing and got to shoot a torpedo down the exhaust port to blow up the Death Star.
