Thanks for posting the list, how embarrasing it truly is when you see just not how many kids but how many entire schools were not even represented. Very sad.

Who nominated the NKY players to be on the ballot to vote? If each outlet gets 10 players to nominate from their area, to me this means that one/two did not nominate a player(s) from their area.

I may be wrong but I think R Skinner may be involved, hensaidmit was a cluster so it sounds like whoever it is didnt get notified or didn't get his nominees in on time. It also isnt fair that an area like NKY if they only have 1 writer submitting nominees only has 10 when covering so many teams compared to other areas who get the Sam amount of nominees when only covering a couple teams.

Thank you for making my point. The kicker with the 5th highest number of extra points made in a season in KHSAA history was not on the list either.

 

Looking at the list above really makes me realize how much of a joke this team has become. The only 2 Northern Kentucky kids that could get votes were the guy who was a candidate for Mr. Football and the other because he played for Highlands and threw for thousands of yards. The AP organization should be embarrased by the team that they put out in print for everyone to see. Maybe the best thing to do is wait until each AP outlet publishes their all star teams and then see if you can put together a list of deserving players based upon these selections. As far as I know, there have been no teams published in the Northern Kentucky papers as yet. The coaches have selected their teams I believe and maybe NKAC, but not sure.

NKCA has their team and so far is the fairest one I've seen so far. Mwhen all the coaches vote on the team it is going to be the most complete. That is the problem with the other lists, they are very incomplete.

Personally, I nominated five Scott County High School players (the team I cover) and no one else.

 

Have no clue who nominated the rest. When I sent my nominations in, there were already a majority of these players on the list.
