My answer would be no. The substitution rotation still does not appear to be set, and offensive sets could and need to be optimized. Also, Drew Moore and Andrew Hedger are still getting their basketball legs under them. Finally, I believe for this team to reach its full potential the coaching philosophy has to change. I keep reading comments on here that other scoring options need to emerge... well, that is hard to make happen when players are told point blank, "your job is not to score." also, after watching as many games at LexCath this weekend it became even more pronounced that players need a longer leash in order to play with more confidence. Pulling players immediately for committing a TO or taking a shot is ridiculous. Unless the philosophy and approach changes Dixie will never reach "all cylinders."

 

The coaches at Holmes, NCC and CCH are such quality coaches. The combination of them, plus the talent they have makes them special in terms of firing on all cylinders.

Holmes and Covcath are more even with Newcath than you realize. Top to bottom, both have better TEAMS. Newcath simply has a more talented top 6.

I guess we will find out a little more next week with CovCath/Holmes and CovCath/NCC.

Personally I'll go with a team that has the beat 6 players, as #7-10 very often don't come into play.
