Yes, just 3. 66-35.

Dixie may have ascended back to 4th, and Walter will have predicted that from jump and may ultimately be correct, but there is a discernible gap between the top 3 and Dixie.

Who exactly has CovCath played?

Holmes beating Dixie 67-59 at Holmes says otherwise....luckily for you, they meet again Feb 5th and we will know then if Dixie keeping it close was a fluke or not.

Dixie will also meet Lafayette (who just beat Newcath) Jan 22nd in the Toyota Classic.

Ask Newcath players and they'll tell you the same thing...Dixie isn't the same team today that they saw first game of the year so 66-35 means nothing, IMO.

Lucky for me? I could not care less. Dixie can be 1st, 3rd, 4th, or 10th. It'll be decided on the court in March, and Dixie has a 100% chance of making it out of their district and into the region, so they'll get their shot(s). Brandon Hatton is a kid I got to know fairly well during his sophomore and junior years, and no one deserves a big senior year more than him. I'm thrilled for him that he is apparently feeling great and playing better.

I don't think they are close to the top 3, but apparently I'm in a kayak, so we can all sit back, enjoy the hoops, and see what unfolds.

Lol... I'm just not good on these threads. I'm better meeting face-to-face at a bar and talking through it over a cold one... but Walter is the only one who will do that with me.

I've seen several posts by "Mr Yiddish (Man plans, god laughs)" and he has had a lot of sour grapes about Dixie. Big mouth. Let's "sit back" and see how things play out. He has already been wrong a couple of times about Dixie thus far this year and eaten crow once... I'm predicting it will happen more.

I went to the link and ended up buying a choir CD. Why didn't they just put a link the Rihards KHSAA site?

Been a while since I've seen you at the Bee's in Crestview on a Friday night. I'll be at St Henry-Dixie this Friday. We will catch up after.

Easy on the "big mouth" comments. He doesnt think Dixie is as good as many others. So what? We all express opinions.

Don't take Dixie comments personally.
