Final in the Republic Bank Holiday Tourney.

Revenge win for the Breds...the players really felt they let one slip away the first time these two met. Nice to see them finish and win in convincing fashion today.

Final. NCC avenges their loss to PRP earlier this year in a big way.

This was a quarterfinal game in the Republic Bank Classic from Lexington Catholic High School.

NCC will move on to play the winner of today's Scott County/Lafayette game tomorrow (Sun, Dec 29) at 6 p.m. ET.

PRP will go to the loser's bracket and play the loser of the Scott County/Lafayette game tomorrow at 3:00 pm ET.

Breds looked very good today in winning convincingly over the Panthers.

13 point halftime lead extended to a 15 point margin for the win.

Up 23 with 4 min left I question keeping all of the starters in there. I think you need your strong ball handlers but why not get Verkamp a few minutes there. I hope they have the legs to finish the tourney strong and win it all.

Nice job Breds.

LB do you have any NCC Stats? Sounds like Jake Tanner and Zake had big games.

Largest lead 52-25 at one point.

Not surprised at all by the win but am surprised by how easy the win appeared to be.

Nice statement win for NCC.

Completely different game from the Breds this afternoon, total team effort all the way around on offense and defense. Breds did what they wanted when they wanted. Zach Pangallo hitting a wide variety of shots; 3's, penetration to rack, floaters in the lane, pull up from 12, etc......The passing was sharp, however there were a quite a few that were not advised, this needs to be worked on. Ben Weyer is getting better by leaps and bounds,......WOW, no sophomore in NKY compares. The Moeves Bros. blending well with this bunch, both playing great on both sides of the ball, especially Tanner with point production. McDonald and Schulte virtually unstoppable.

This was BREDS basketball what we saw today.

The best things about these tough tourneys is that you better have your "A" game or it won't be pretty. Good win for the BREDS
