Outfielder Shin-Soo Choo has reached agreement with the Rangers on a seven-year deal, reports Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com (via Twitter). Choo, 31, is a client of the Boras Corporation.

Cost of living in New York sucks. You can get a lot more in TX for less. Plus I think someone mentioned less taxes. You add all that up and he's probably getting more out of 130 mil in TX than 140 in NY
