December 24, 201312 yr What does that matter?Basically, athletes owe state taxes on earnings they earn in every city they play. Games in TX, FL, TN, etc. are not taxed, games in other states are taxed in the state they play. EDIT: I didn't see Clyde's link, it explains it pretty well.
