I don't much care for Sinead O'Connor or her music, but I sure think her take on "Silent Night" is beautiful.

This is one of my wife's absolute favorites. It's grown on me a LOT. Ella Fitzgerald - "What Are You Doing New Year's Eve"

Oh yeah. How about The Velvet Fog's take on "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" from the Home Alone soundtrack??

None better.

I meant to mention that after a mild 33 seconds this tune kicks in to all its Joy. I must admit that it's infectious, and I can't get it out of my head. If you dig the happy sounds of reggae, and you're not done with Christmas yet, you might dig this.

It usually takes me 'til mid December to get into the Christmas spirit. Getslow's thread wonderfully got me there. I guess that I'm not ready to turn Christmas off yet, but I guess that's not a bad thing.

The Charlie Brown Christmas Soundtrack is so wonderful. Been chillin' with it this morning. Really goes great with Breakfast not too loud, and it's great days before, day of, and day after Christmas to mellow out and groove with.

Enjoy if you've got the time.

Can't stand Bruce Springsteen, but love his version of "Santa Claus is Coming to Town".

How did this line make it uncommented on for two weeks? "Can't stand"? I'm not a fan of his more recent, political, docudrama stuff, but 70's and 80's Bruce? Not sure I've ever met any male in my generation (plus or minus 10 years) that "can't stand" Bruce.

Agree with you on his version of "Santa Claus is Coming to Town". My favorite traditional Christmas tune by a popular singer / artist.

Count me in the can't stand Bruce crowd. I'm well within the 10yr buffer.

Yes you are -- and now I feel like I've just driven past a herd of unicorn.
