I wonder if Cousins is successful if the Skins try to trade Bob Griffin to get back a few picks.

No way. Part of Shanahan's problem is that Snyder's relationship with RG3 is too good. This is either about Shanahan attempting to get fired so he can collect the rest of his contract or way to showcase Cousins to increase trade value to recover picks lost when they traded to get RG3. Snyder won't bail on RG3

I always thought someone wasn't sold on Bob Griffin when they took Cousins in the same draft.

Marvin isn't a big enough name for Snyder, and I think Snyder will be looking for an offensive coach. With the success that Chip Kelly has had, I wouldn't be surprised to see him dip into college again, for a big name. I don't know who that might be.

Thats the thing he probably won't be able to get a big name to come there anymore. Marvin is a guy he liked when he was there. Marvin is a guy who did help turn the laughing stock of the league around since he arrived in Cincy. Now they have underachieved once in the playoffs, but he has turned it around. He knows how to work with a tough owner, and he has a lot of experience being a head coach. If the bengals fail this year and they do get rid of Marvin. I believe Marvin definitely would have a chance to be the coach.

 Thank You Skins for you monumental stinking this season...My Rams get your First Round pick as part of the deal that got you RGIII.

Now what to do with the #2 pick in the draft if your the Rams? Maybe another trade?

With the last #2 pick that the Rams traded to the Skins, the Redskins received QB Robert Griffin III

The Rams using picks and players received in other deals ultimately received

DT Michael Brockers

CB Janoris Jenkins

RB Isaiah Pead

OG Rokevious Watkins

LB Alec Ogletree

RB Zac Stacy

WR Stedman Bailey

and the 2014 No. 2 overall pick for the rights to RGIII

I'd trade down 5-7 slots, accumulate another handful of picks, and go after a WR. The Rams are desperate for a big-time playmaker. Not at all convinced Tavon Austin is that guy.

Not at all familiar with the Rams, how are they set at QB and RB?

Shanahan just arrived at Redskins Park.Won't be long now.

...and it sounds like it's done.

Sam Bradford at QB, missed around half the season with injury. RB by committee at this point...Rams are the youngest team in the NFL. I'll bet they go after O-Line with at least one of the 2 first rounders this season.

Definitely not worth that much. Even if he bounces back to have an average year next year.

Glad the Browns didn't make that deal.

I disagree about RB....Stacy seems to be the guy IMO. Not sold on Bradford yet, but I think he's the best realistic option at this point.

Stacy could be the guy, but even he's not a stud RB like the Rams have had over the past decade or so.
