Big district game...two heavy hitters in the 14th region going at it.

Knott County Central comes in at 2-0......Cordia comes in at 2-0

Knott County Central comes in averaging 89 points per game.....Cordia comes in averaging 65 points per game.

Thoughts / Predictions?

Cordia had the big win against LexCath, but I've got Knott taking this one 80-75.

Do they normally play district games this early?

Depends on when contracts are put together. This is the second year of this contract. They played at Knott on December 11th last season, which Knott won 61-49.

Several teams have already begin district play. Estill County played Lee County on the 6th....Owsley and Powell play tomorrow.

Yeah, they played around this time last season too.

KCC by 8.

There isn't going to be a much tougher environment than Cordia. But Cordia doesn't have their entire team until the next day, is they are eligible.

No school in Knott Co today, however game is still on!

This one streaming online or anything?

WYMT should legit look into doing some games like this and airing them online.

I don't know where WYMT could set up a camera in Cordia's gym. I believe they have a regulation size floor but only a few rows of seats on each side. Probably will seat no more than 200.
