I am a U.K. football fan as well as I am a Buckeye football fan but I guess the difference is that I don't take pleasure in other teams losing because U.K. is not and never will be a top football program and now would have trouble with a good 1AA team. Ohio State was a paper tiger from the word go. The Buckeyes have beaten exactly no one — not a single team currently ranked in the top 20. Their résumé is similar to that of Northern Illinois. They had no business in the title game and will not be now

I applaud Urban for suspending Marcus Hall the entire game. It had nothing to do with the final result however.

I know everyone in todays football likes a spread offense. But please tell me why teams line up in shotgun 5-6 yards deep on short yardage situations and run the football? OSU had 4th and 2 but had to run 8 yards to gain 2.

And the difference between UK football and tOSU, UK fans don't run their mouths about deserving to be in the title game, knowing darn good and well they aren't one of the top 2 teams in the country. JA, I agree. I do believe that he played maybe 3 downs, not sure. His replacement came out and I thought that I saw Hall go in. I also agree that it wouldn't had made any difference in the outcome. OSU's O line wasn't the problem. The Bucks defense and the #1 MSU defense were the problems.

And just curious, where do you get me being a UK football fan? I like to root for underdogs and I root for them, but I've not ever gotten on here spouting off about how awesome I think they are.

 

I Hate seeing the buckeyes in the title game cause they always get that fanny spanked. A phantom pass interference call and a blown out McGahee knee are the only things that make the buckeyes relevant in the last 20 years when it comes to them being in Championship talks. Sorry but Urban is a turd and he makes it even easier to root against the buckeyes. However if the buckeyes were one of the top 2 teams I'd want to see them in the title game. At least from this point on they'll have to earn a trip to the game via the playoff.
