Some may say that NCC made too many mistakes tonight and needs to clean them up in order to advance. Maybe so, but NCC played methodical football, doing what it takes to pull out the victory. As typical for them, they made the necessary adjustments at halftime. Congrats to the Breds.

Gallatin Co played a very good first half as evidenced by the 6-6 score. NCC dominated second half on offense and defense. Other than the last drive against the NCC JV, I'm not sure Gallatin Co had more than 1 or 2 first downs in second half and they were outscored 28 to 0.

Still winning with pure talent. Clean up the mistakes plus the Breds pure talent they have a shot. No fumbles and make kicks!!

What happened to the running clock being predicted on here? Looks like Gallatin was a little better than most predicted on here. The jv comment is way off base when I looked out there on the last play there were an awful lot of dirty jerseys. Also a holding call that was completely bogus opened the flood gates after GC stopped a NCC drive.

You can go to the replay on Tri-State on you will not find 1 defensive starter for NCC on the field on the final drive.

The fans were pretty quiet in the first half except for the constant whining. Then in the second half when their team made their run they just became down right obnoxious.

At 34-6 with NCC having the ball at midfield with 5 minutes left they could have gone for the running clock if that was their objective. Instead with the game in hand they punted the ball away and YES put their entire JV in for the last defensive possession since there is no need to have any starters anywhere near the field. You obviously do not know the defensive personnel very well for NCC if you think otherwise.

NCC made adjustments at the half and Gallatin Co did not respond. Give the Gallatin Co kids credit for playing very well for one half. It is certainly something they can build upon.

This NewCath fan and many were more than stunned. The only "whinning" I heard and agree with, is the 1st Gallatin Co. touchdown.....That was the worst call EVER!!!!

 

The same can be said about some of the Gallatin Co. faithfully when they saw the "writing on the wall" as they too became down right obnoxious. It goes both ways unfortunately, at takes away from the fans of both teams that remain "good sports".

Congrats to Gallatin on a great year. Couldn't be more proud of the effort tonight, and the whole season.

The Breds played one of the most uninspired 1st half's I have ever witnessed, could get nothing going on offense. Jake Smith injured on the 1st play and came back in late in the half for two plays. Breds defense dominated in the 2nd half, and the offense got it going. Brandon Gray with two picks and Jack Sutkamp was just "steamrolling" over the Gallatin Co. line. Breds need to cut down on the penalties and hold on to the ball....two more fumbles (Smith & Moore), but both came fighting for extra yards.

 

Gallatin Co. 1st touchdown was by far the worst call EVER!!!! Brought back memories of 2010 NewCath/Beechwood 2OT game, but 10 times worse. :no:

Don't know how many NewCath fans were saying that, but Gallatin Co. has nothing to hang their heads about. They had a hell of a season and should be extremely proud of what they accomplished this season.
