Wolfe was only down by 4 at halftime. They came out flat in the second half and got blown out. It was actually only a 7 point game with two miutes left in the 3rd. Congrats to Perry on a good win, Bailey played really well for the Commodores.

Did Gilbert play???

No, he will probably be out until the Buckhorn game. About 50% chance he plays against Letcher Friday night, and about 75% for the Buckhorn game. He will definately be back for the Lee County game.

Does anyone in Wolfe County understand the concept of DEFENSE.

Only down 4 at half??????????Wolfes would of been better off to just put their street cothes back on and went home at the half.

Yeah the same team from the first half definately didn't show up in the second. They came out really flat. I was very proud of the way they fought in the first but the game of basketball has two halves and you must play both. Perry did a good job of making a run in the second to shut the door.

That's an impressive win for Perry, even if Gilbert wasn't on the court. It will be interesting to see if Wolfe can make any sort of run towards the end of the season when Gilbert is back 100%.

It will be interesting to see if they make a run, but Gilbert will not be 100% a broken bone doesn't heal in 2 weeks. But from what i have heard he has been to almost every doctor he can get an appointment to trying to find someone who can make something to protect his hand and let them play. I hope he does well but WC will get no where without Defense which was lacking with him.

I take exception to that, since the fact that the 2001 and 2003 teams gave up less than anyone else in the reigion, but agree on the fact that this year they have been stinking it up. They really need to step up their defense.

Good fact DEN if WC has never know defense than how did that happen in those two years? Did they play JV teams. Just kidding even though you have proof people wont believe it, pretty crazy isnt it.
