What happened to Anderson County against Collins? Did they sit a bunch of players?

 

I heard they sit a couple of primary players out because of slight injuries, get some rest, etc. but I haven't gotten confirmation on that yet. If one of those players was Cox, then thats a BIG bite out of both sides of the ball and could help explain a lot of that score.

I believe I made that point indirectly earlier but nonetheless I don't see Cooper getting smashed by 41 points as you are predicting.

Cox was held out against Collins and the starting QB didn't play much more.

 

AC is a different team without both players and while Collins is a great team, the score probably would've been a bit closer had they played. Prob still a loss though.

 

Cox is good for 14 points and 100 yards or so each game, and Carmichael is a weapon bc he can run in the designed plays and when the pocket breaks down. Take any team in the state's best two players out and they suffer a bit.

 

I'll go Anderson 35-14 against Cooper.

I'd love to see Cooper bring back a FB to block for Bricking and see how much their run game would become a force. Smith I believe who plays on the line was a RB last year and would be a beast of a FB. Probably won't see it, but thought it would present an interesting wrinkle.

I'm a huge Jags' fan this week. While their record isn't stellar, they are well coached and have enough battle tested kids that I think this is a great game. I look for Fussinger to have a huge game and Cooper steals one to advance.

 

By the way, they may not win but no way do they get housed. This will be a ballgame into the 4th.

I saw last year's game between these two. Cooper played about as well as you could play and was definitely the superior team. I expect the same result this year....the only difference is Anderson will be the superior team this time around.

Not really sure why this is an issue. Sounds to me that some on here are afraid of the preverbial UPSET of a 4 beating a 1 which just might happen in this years playoffs. If KY wants to make a chage then adopt the same scale/ratiing system that Ohio uses where some teams with only 1 loss may not make the playoffs as a "BSC" formula is used. There is nothing wrong with the system now so I'm not sure what the fuss is all about. The best teams will rise to the top at the appropriate time so good luck to ALL the teams in the playoffs but most importantly I want everyone to stay healthly the rest of the season as there have been far too many severe injuries this season.

Coach Borchers and the entire coaching staff are too good not to pull out everything they can to do everything they can to move on to next week.
