Basketball season for 2013/2014 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from Trinity-Louisville? Remember, please be constructive.

Trinity will be led by its two seniors Tre Ivory and Craig Owens. They will be counted on for their leadership of the highly touted junior class. Spaulding, Ramser, Levitch, Theinaman, and Stafford have a very high ceiling if they improve as the season progresses. With probably the toughest schedule in the state they might fall a few times but in the end they match up perfectly with Ballard. Dont be surprised if Trinity gets to Rupp.

The word "potential" has been thrown around with this group for the last couple years. If the can put it together, they'll go all the way. But that's a very big "if".

Pretty well said in the above posts.

Ballard is the known entity in the Seventh and is rightly the favorite to go back to Rupp, but if Trinity's question marks become positives for them, the Shamrocks have a very high ceiling.

Absolutely the No. 2 in the region heading into the season.

Looking forward to the Feb. 18th match-up with NewCath, should be a dandy.

Should be a great game, the one last year at NCC was a good one too with a great atmosphere. Looking at Trinity's schedule there are alot of tough games: Cov. Holmes, Johnson Central, Henry Clay, Lafayette, Scott County, St. Xavier, NCC, LexCath plus their tournaments,,,,whoa

You and me both. I'm looking forward to seeing how both Holmes and Newcath do against the Rocks this year.

Holmes gets them 1/25 in the Joe B Hall.

Also looking forward to seeing Ray Spalding play. Let's hope Szabo uses him more effectively this season.........

What kind of summer did Spalding have? How's his development been going?

I believe he suffered an injury not too long ago. Maybe a broken finger?

He had a decent summer though playing up with the Travelers. Up and down but was really good in stretches for them going against some of the best competition in the country. He has visited Indiana, Louisville, Butler, and Xavier so far.

The key for Ray is realizing how good he can be. Right now he doesn't really play hard all the time and college coaches have told me once that light goes on for him and his motor improves, you'll see him get bigger offers than what he currently has.

Currently has 5 offers, a few big names.

Who are they if you can share?

Can't, wish I could.

No problem. I understand. Share when you can.

I was thinking that Spalding was one of the kids in this class who had some silent offers.

They (Trinity) looked outstanding vs Ballard in the finals of the Derek Smith. I know Ballard was missing their best, but that didn't take away from how good Trinity looked. It did of course take away from how Ballard looked. Still good but not at the level I expect them to be this season.
