He's solid, but this team's nearly lost to North Carolina and Wake Forest -- who aren't exactly world-beaters -- in the last two weeks. At the same time, Florida State has been absolutely DESTROYING teams. I just don't see how Miami's offense is going to get enough going to keep this close.

UM's offense is capable of scoring points but Morris can be very inconsistent at times. Duke Johnson will be the second best offensive player on the field but the Cane defense better come with a lunch box.

The Wake Forest game was far more concerning for Miami than the UNC game. UNC was on the road, on the favorite night for the ACC to try to torpedo one of their higher ranked teams (Thursdays), and it seemed virtually everyone got hurt, including Duke Johnson. But Wake Forest, that's were you look at them and think they're going to get crushed here. If it were in Miami, I might be more inclined to give them some shot at making a game of it. But not in Tallahassee. Plus, what incentive does Miami have to bring it all this time? All they have to do is beat Virginia Tech and they'll play again in the ACC Title game - at a neutral site.

Did I see where point spread is the largest in history in a game involving 2 Top 10 teams?

I believe that is correct.

I could've done without reading:

"The teams are meeting as unbeatens this late in a season for the first time since 1991...."

WIDE RIGHT I

True. Not a lot of good memories in this rivalry to be honest. Granted, I remember the losses more than the victories. I'm just glad this game has meaning again. It's been largely forgettable for almost a decade.

I'd say you'd have to go back to 2002 (Wide Left) to find the last significant FSU/Miami game. Both were in the top 10, and that miss allowed Miami to stay in the BCS hunt.

Got to Tallahassee around 6 today. Had been raining most of the day, and rained to 10ish. Tallahassee was electric tonight. Hope for a good game and a big fsu win.
