Diet soft drinks taste like :poop:, it's the

real thing for me. Go thru about 5 two liters (Mtn. Dew) a week and I'm fit as a fiddle.

Well Mrs. Lawnboy wishes this was me.

I used to drink regular soft drinks all inof the time. Then I switched to diet because of the calories. Now I do not like the taste of regular. As I have said before, I drink almost exclusively water.

I haven't drank any type of pop in almost 1 year.

For those who don't drink diet beverages, what do you drink (besides water)?

Beer, water, juice, lemonade.

A diet soda is an oxymoron.

I want to drink a fake soda to watch my weight and health. It's still a damn soda it just tastes like crap.

Coffee (black, no sugar), unsweetened iced tea, water. Oh...and wine. :D. I don't like sodas. I might have a root beer (regular, not diet) every few months or so. But I honestly can't remember the last time I had a soda of any sort.

That's what it is, you are all jacked up on mountain dew! I was wondering how you had the energy to go to a HS sporting event every night, text 37 people from a 1997 flip phone, raise 3 lovely girls, give HS tours to BGP members, work a job and maintain your status as Lawnboy!

"Yeah, I'll have two double cheeseburgers, large fry, and a large Diet Coke."

FOR WHAT?? :lol2:

I drink 2 cans of pop a day...One is a Sprite, the other a regular Coca-Cola. Other than that it's water, lemonade, or Cherry Kool-Aide....Oh, and of course a few beers each week.

Guess I'm going to have to get down to water and beer only.

That is all my cousin drinks.

That is what you call a balanced diet.

For me... I've quit Copenhagen tobacco (can a day for 25 years) 6 years ago. I've been on a low carb diet for the past 4 years and lost over 100 lbs and kept it off. I figure..I've got to have something that's not good for me and I guess it's diet soda for me. I also drink diet soda like a fish and find it hard to believe that anybody can drink anymore than I do. For me drinking diet drinks did not help me lose weight, but they did help keep from gaining weight. I do not have diabetes, my blood pressure is 110/71, my glucose levels are 89 and cholesterol is 157. Someday I might quit but I have no plans in the near future.

I play cards with a guy 2-3 times a week and he drinks at least 12 cans of Diet Pepsi every time I see him. I counted 18 one night and maybe missed some.

I ALWAYS laughed at these orders when I worked fast food. Such an oxymoron........

Kind of like when I worked at SBUX...a hugely popular choice was a decaf, non-fat, sugar-free vanilla latte...with whipped cream.
