I would agree with the rankings

Looks pretty good, I can't really argue with any of it. I would say #4 - #6 or 7 are pretty even, could maybe switch positions around and still have no argument. I will ay that pending the khsaa investigation results, Fairview should maybe be dropped from any ranking. jmo

Only issue I would have is Frankfort was 5th last week and won by 58 points and dropped a spot. Other than that looks fine.

As I always say, my knowledge of Kentucky high school football is elementary, but it would be hard for me to keep Frankfort out of the top five.

 

My question for those who are more in-the-know with regards to 1A is this: How much distance is between Mayfield and the rest of the pack?

I see no reason to drop, until the KHSAA makes a ruling they are as in this as anybody else and this late in the day I will be suprised if we hear anything that will impact this season

I think Mayfield is the team to beat, but, I don't think they're head and shoulders above the next 8 teams. If it were a best of 7 like the World Series, I'd bet the farm on them everytime, but, in a 1 game scenario, I think any of the next 8 are capable of knocking them off, but, it'll take a very, very well played game on both sides of the ball and they'll need to win the turnover battle.
