November 3, 201312 yr I think they messed up by not bringing Ryno up, it wasn't like it was a horrible idea. I mean compared to Sveum, I don't really get it. So Dale helped teach Prince, Braun, Hart, Lee, etc. how to hit? Pretty sure those guys were going to smash no matter who the hitting coach was, especially in that park. Here you have Ryno killing it down in AA Tennessee, but doesn't even really get a look? Can't blame him for bolting for the Phillies, I'm sure that had to sting.

November 7, 201312 yr Author Cubs will hire a new manager sometime tomorrow. Rick Renteria is the front runner and has been for quite sometime, so unless something drastically happens before tomorrow, Rick Renteria (Padres Bench Coach) will be the new coach of the Cubs
