Both Boone and Highlands had open dates next Thursday and the Birds contacted the Rebels for a rematch of Highlands 25 to 18 victory a few weeks back. Kudos to both schools for finding another game for their players to play.

That's awesome! A sincere congrats to the CCH Frosh.

How about the JV? Will they be playing next week or will they be otherwise occupied at something besides playing a football game?

Uh no- you would have bad sources.

So the rumor itself was that the game was being cancelled. The reason was unknown but they were speculating that it may be linked to moving the QB up to JV/Varsity.

I dunno, just relaying what I heard from a CCH parent.
