I'm on record that SK is the 3rd best 6A team in the state (SC and T). You cant convince me otherwise. You guys can disagree with a poster all you want but that's no excuse for downgrading a really good football team. Maybe it's not anti-UK bias, or maybe it's just that some want to maintain their 'status' at the top and don't want to acknowledge that we're coming.

What has McCracken done to make you think this?

 

 

I've seen McCracken up close twice this season.

 

They have depth, a great line, speed, a qb that can run and throw.

 

A team from Louisville will have to come down here, that's an advantage.

 

Some teams stay the same all season and some teams get better, I believe they are better.

 

Time will tell, I don't think there is a super team in 6A and with the right draw, home field and momentum , McCracken has somewhat of a shot or could be a big spoiler team.

So male just beat T by 2 scores but T is top 3 not Male?

Trinity, St X, Male and Manual are all on the other side of the bracket from McCracken. Would only meet in championship game. If McCracken gets to state semis most likely foes at this point are Butler, Simon Kenton or Dixie Heights I would say.

Simon Kenton is ranked right where they should be at #5. For any SK fan who thinks they deserve to be higher than any of the four above them, make the argument for it.

I'm really not anti-SK. I hope they win it all. However, I believe as most others do that SK hasn't played anyone to prepare them for the playoffs and the upper echelon teams they'll face. Same as last year, when SK finally played a good team, they got thumped(twice). So until SK plays someone good, they don't belong in the Top 5.

 

But hey, you guys continue to celebrate and pat yourselves on the back for those insignificant titles while the big boys in 6A go for the higher goal of State Champion.
