Dixie fan section fiasco

I was up there too, and the old guys weren't yelling at the kids to sit down. The kids were initially standing, and then halfway through the 1st, they stood up on the seats. When the out of control guy asked if they would step back down, a Dixie student replied with profanity directed at the man. From there, it became a shouting match. The older man was definitely way out of line, however, so was the Dixie student. As for the guy with his leg out over the seat in front of him, he sits like that at all the games. He has a bad leg and can't sit with it bent.

The older guys were not "yelling", maybe I should have said....using a STERN TONE, since they were not getting their way. Mr. Angry should have/could have gone about it in a better way, but he was clearly out of line. I did not hear the student say profanity as I was about 10-15 feet away, but words were definitely exchanged and I CLEARLY heard Mr. Angry say he would have his son take care of the situation as well as telling the students to "shut up" in a very STERN TONE w/finger pointing.. However, as packed as it was in that section those kids had to stand on the seats and it's the student section so the folks sitting in the top 4 rows should have known better....this certainly wasn't their 1st game they attended, anyone with half a brain knows students stand for the game.

As for "leg guy" gotcha, but he was making ZERO attempt to move it has students were maneuvering around it. He's lucky nobody feel on his leg.

You should know there's goofs in every crowd!

:lol2: :thumb:

How can you willingly sit anywhere near a student section and then be upset with what goes on there? What did the guy think was going to go on? As someone else said, parents are idiots too.

The thing that got me mad was the Dixie students that ran around the field during the game with the Dixie flags taunting the SK student section considering what SK did for Dixie. SK dedicated the game and made the game a pink out for Dixie and their coach.

Not sure what taunting you are referring to. The Dixie students have ran around the field with the flags after every touchdown this season.

When they was in front of the SK student section very disrespectful!

That's it!!!! I proclaim no handshakes between parents and students after football games in the state if Ky.

When they was in front of the SK student section very disrespectful!

And if it were SK students you would be singing their spirit praises! Don't even try to tell us SK and every other team doesn't have some students like this.

That (running up to opposing student sections waving flag) has been going on for YEARS at Dixie. It's just that for the last few, kids haven't been attending games or filling the student sections at home and on the road. Dixie's having some success lately and the kids are attending games, supporting the team and showing some spirit. Now do I agree with some of the shannigans? No, but there's always one idiot in the crowd.

Absolutely, because I have seen it.

These are kids. A lot of them don't think before they open their mouths.

It wasn't SK students they was busy being good students shame on you!

You need a remedial reading course. Try again.
