Didn't realize Stanley was a junior. Really enjoyed watching him play last December.

I agree with NCC as #1. I think there are 4 legit teams that can win it but NCC and the Dawgs deserve the top 2 coming in.

St Henry might be low.

Strong top 5 players.

Nice player. If he develops an outside shot he'll be very difficult to guard. Long arms. Getting stronger from working in the weight room.

He'll be a 15+ ppg kid.

Really nice kid as well.

What does Cov Cath have in addition to Ruthsatz?

I plan to follow his progress throughout the season. Loved his effort more than anything.

Lots of depth mainly.

Moreso at the 1, 2, and 3.

At those you can run Ruthsatz, Theobald, CVH, Romes, Shumate, Heppler , and Bo Shuh (might be leaving some out).

The 4 and 5 can have Bo Shuh, Mark Schult, Wichmann and the young Heppler. Not a lot of scoring from the post but Schult will D you to your ears fall off and hustle.

My questions for CCH:

Can they find a #2 scorer who is consistent and can take the pressure off of Ruthsatz?

Has Bo Schuh's offensive game improved?

Can Ben Heppler hit the outside shot consistently?

How long will it take CVH to adjust from football AND to the level of competition?

How big of a role will Romes play ? ( I think it can be significant).

Does Shumate step into the "shooter" role?

Who steps up besides Wich and adds "toughess" that was lost with Toebler and Fredrick?

It's going to be a fun season with a great schedule.

I'm going with

1.NCC

2.Dixie

3.Holmes

4.CCH

Really hard to predict this region again. Any of the top 4 wouldn't surprise me at all. Cooper and Boone are always going to be a factor if they have any talent because their coaching is very good.

You left off the toughest Colonel, at least IMHO from last years team Sawyer Pauly, he more than Fred or Tobs was that tough man in a game or practice!

No way Quinton Chames isn't a top 10 player in the region. Kid is going to have a huge senior year. Replace Stuhr with Chames and the player list looks good.

I'd also switch Covcath and Dixie.

Dixie is going to be really good this year. Hatton being healthy will make a huge difference.

Isn't this the kid that really impressed me at state last year? If so, no way he isn't top 10.

How did I do that! I knew there was a 3rd kid in the "toughness" question. He'll be tough to replace.

I agree on Chames being top 10. Game-changer.
