I can't wait until the Scott / Conner game. I'm not sure who wins that one. Both pretty equal and both could have been beaten by Cooper if not for last minute scores.

Using W/L only is a terrible barometer IMO. How are they playing now? Who do you think would win? Those answers drive the ratings. Week 1 doesn't IMO.

South Oldham gets the slight nod over Conner IF we saw South Oldham in other games. We haven't so they shouldn't even be in the poll.

Won't disagree with you on that but if the 5A coaches see fit to vote on them, then why aren't they ranked higher with their recent victory over Conner, that is if games later in the year mean more than game earlier in the year?

If Cooper is better in your opinion you cannot rank them lower than Ryle.

On Cov Cath and Dixie, Cov Cath is definitely a different team now than they were when they played in week one.

However, South Oldham beat Conner. In my opinion I am a traditionalist that believes South Oldham nor Gallatin/Bracken/Grant/Owen are NKY. Walton is about as far as I consider. If South Oldham was NKY, then they would be #6 (bumping everyone else down one).

The Conner coach may have voted South Oldham 5th in N Ky - just ahead of his team. That would give S.O. 6 points in the poll.
