I partially agree with you, gold sunrise. If you can somehow get PC in foul trouble, especially Elrod or Mains, the team is not nearly as effective. However, when everyone is healthy and out of foul trouble, I don't think there is a team in the region that can stop them. They have too many weapons.

Has been the same with us and foul trouble, but tonight we were in foul trouble and our bench came through for us....BIG step for GRC. I do believe that PC and GRC are the top two teams in the region, but still hard to beat Mason in the fieldhouse . The winner should be one of these 3 teams. Should be a great tourney.

Key to beating PC is to get Mains out of the game. They can't run without their general.

They beat a decent Bourbon team by 10 in Paris without Mains, Pat Elliott had an illness (and scored 34) and Jon Elrod had an ankle injury. While I agree Mains is the heart and soul of that team, and they probably aren't going to beat GRC, Mason, or Bishop Brossart without him, it is possible. It's like a poison with them, you either let Mains kill ya, or Elliott....

They wouldn't have beaten Harrison without him. And right now that should be the only team PC is worried about.

Looks like I was right, GRC is number 2 in the Region, and I look for them not to lose in the Fieldhouse at all this season. :sssh:

Coach Humphries and the Cards have been flying LOW under the radar all season.

Looks like the Cat, er - Cardinal is out of the bag!!!

The Royals shot 1 of 10 from 3 point land. Middleton hit the only 3 in the 3rd qtr. But this wasn't the difference in the game. Clark manhandled them all night.

PC might have something to say about that.

And if it is not Mains and Elliot. It is Elrod or Belcher. :D

PC is not going to beat teams like GRC, Mason, BB without Mains.

Congrats to GRC. Very impressive win at the Fieldhouse.

Notes from the Lexington Hearld today.

• Guard Preston Knowles made all six of his three-pointers in the second half and scored a game-high 24 points to lead visiting Clark County to a 71-62 win over Mason County.

Great Win GRC
