Robbie Stroub

This kid's a gunslinger.

As was mentioned in the update thread, it was embarrassing being a Bird fan and watching the timeouts at the end of the half. You can justify it any way you want - it was uncalled for. Need more reps for your offense? Leave them in for a series in the third quarter. To me, calling the timeouts look like trying to score before the half, not getting reps.

This is coming from someone who thinks the world of Dale. I see him on a somewhat regular basis and he is truly a great guy. If I get the chance, I may just ask him about this.

Hahaha! Let us know how that goes.

Does anybody have his attempts/completions? I know he didn't hand the ball off once but I could be wrong.

Hoge: 9/10 190 5 TD's

I want to say HHS ran 1 running play the entire game. Hoge ran for the 3 yards.

Please don't start a Houliston vs. Hoge thread.

Houliston, Hoge, McCoy, Towels, Bardo.. Anyone who is running this machine is gonna have redonkulous numbers right now.

How proud is Harrison Co of there rb? That young man played with heart. That my friends is what HS football is about, we all get caught up in rankings and my qb is better than your qb . The young man left it all on the field. Can someone help with his name please? No disprect meant but he was not the fastest or most talented but he played with his heart. best of luck to him and the rest of HC.

agreed.....at least against non existent defenses like Harrison County's.

How bout that punt into the stands? Took a couple blue hairs out.......Coach must have had a talk with him afterwards cuz the next punt was booted into the Bluebird football team. instead.

How about the 60 yard field goal Daugherty kicked at halftime! :thumb:

And we didn't even have to go to all the trouble of losing 30 yards on purpose.

He missed a 58 yard attempt wide left today at Withrow, plenty of leg though.

During the SK/CC game the PA announcer said Harrison County was winning it was pretty funny everybody was shocked nice win for Highlands.

He does that every game as part of his schtick. It has gotten way old but the SK fans fell for it. LOL
