Buying Tickets: Advice

Featured Replies

Never been to an NBA regular season game before. Am hoping to get a couple tickets for when the Bobcats visit the Pacers in early December. The fiance' is a huge MKG fan and has been very persistent in the fact that we have to go see him when they play in Indy. :lol2:

What's the best way to go about getting NBA tickets on the cheap? Stubhub the best option? Through the Pacers?

Back when the Pacers were terrible, we'd just get them through their website. Never had any trouble.

Bobcats at Pacers, I'd take my chances and go up early on game day and hang out around arena at a bar/restaurant and hit up a scalper.

^Also not a bad idea.

I've never been, but a few of my buddies have gotten tickets on StubHub for pretty cheap.

My thoughts exactly.

My way you get shut out of that game. Pacers struggled selling playoff tickets. No way I'd pay a penny over face if I were you.

I've always heard Pacers tickets are reasonably priced and the best value out of all the NBA teams.

If it is not a sell out. Stub Hub . For Piston games I go to 8-10 a year to watch UK players . Get tickets cheap. Pacers are better so probably won't be as good. I'm guessing if you check stubhub for a bobcats game though wouldn't be surprised to see some sections half off.

I know most would be more comfortable having tickets prior to traveling to Indy but I think I'd go up without tickets. 84% capacity for '12/'13 and the BobCats aren't a big draw anywhere. I think I'd check Stubhub if I were to hit the secondary market but they still have a few tack on fees.

Have you checked the Pacers website to see how much the tickets are?

Single game tickets go on sale 10/9 per the website. I would try that if not you

should be able to scalp easy. I went to a weekend a couple of years back and we had

tickets for one of the games and scalped the 2nd game prices weren't bad at all.

With the NBA if the game doesn't sell out the tickets will always be cheaper on stub hub.

Tickets are very cheap for the Pacers games. I believe they still have $10 tickets if you just want to be in the building.
