Great, great season from start to finish IMO. I can't say it's better than the Mags season, but it's very close for me. Rappaport was outstanding.

Interview with the head writer for the show.

Note: If you have not watched the final episode do not read this.

'Justified' season 5 finale postmortem: Graham Yost looks back, ahead | Inside TV | EW.com

So here’s my question: Boyd is a smart man. Rachel just made that threat, and then the next thing he knows, Ava’s miraculously out of jail because her cellmate and the guard have recanted their stories. Does he know something’s up? Are you gonna play with that?

We’re gonna play with that. It was not our feeling that Boyd would have connected those dots. Because I don’t think he takes Rachel’s threat all that seriously. I don’t even think he takes it seriously from Raylan, not entirely. I think Boyd has a little bit of, “Okay, well if you could’ve done something, you already would’ve.”

^ This stood out the most to me from that interview. I felt like Boyd would immediately connect the dots, but that evidently isn't the case. Will be interesting to see how he reacts to the truth of the situation.

I fell behind on this show. Just watched the final 3 episodes tonight. Loved the line when Boyd said "I may not know a lot of things but I know how to blow sh*t up." Right up there with when Boyd said "My name is Boyd Crower and I'm an outlaw". Love when he is hard core. And to think he was only supposed to last a few episodes.

I've got to think that in the end Raylen meets Mr. Mayhem. As others have said the've showed his headstone too many times. Just have a feeling that next time we hear "You'll never leave Harlan alive" that it will be a reference to Raylen.

I feel the same way...but hoping I'm wrong...don't want to see Raylan dead. Unless it's many years later and he's in a rocking chair talking about the old days and has a heart attack.

I'm willing to allow that I may have missed something, but who the hell is Mr. Mayhem?

It's a reference to Sons of Anarchy. Basically means that he'll be dead.

Just realized after watching some of the episodes over that the actress playing Wendy Crowe was Ms Pasternak (Jake's teacher) on Two and a Half Men during one season. Another Actress also played Ms Pasternak in other seasons.

Is she on those KD Framily commercials that have been running during NBA playoffs?

My youngest brother is in the TV/movie business. He told me tonight that he has worked with Walton Goggins(Boyd Crowder) and says he's a great guy who we would all enjoy hanging out with.

I saw a sit down interview with him on some talk show and he seemed pretty cool.

I could see that!

I finally broke down and rented the first season of Justified last weekend and watched it and can now see how much people love it. I returned the first season and rented the second season. I noticed a comical mistake they made in the second season. When Rayland Given goes to talk with the supposed head of the Dixie Mafia in Frankfort, there is a bottle of Pappy van Winkle sitting on the table that the head of the Dixie Mafia puts in his coffee (oh the sacrilege!). Rayland notices the bottle and asks, "Piper van Winkle?" That gave me a laugh. As well as the show does at keeping in KY parts true to form, the mess up the name of the (in many people's opinion) best bourbon in KY.

May have been Raylans way of down playing what he was drinking. If your on season two, you should like it. Mags is by far the best villain of the series.

Still pretty early in it. Mags is the old lady growing pot correct?

Yep, you'll want to use slo-mo on the last episode on one scene...you'll know it when you see it.
