April 4, 201412 yr This season has been so strong! Darrell Crowe JR may be the best non-star character they've had. He's second to Mags S2! But much better than Boyds Dad S1, Quarrels S3 and Limehouse S3. Nicky S4 was pretty good and Ice Pick was awesome just gone too soon.

April 10, 201412 yr Season was up and down for me. I couldn't fully get into some of the story arcs and Daryl Crowe never quite did it for me. But overall, it's Justified and still one of the top 3 or 4 hours on TV. REALLY love how they are setting up the final showdown we all knew was coming.

April 10, 201412 yr Ava is as good as dead. Seems like they would've made something happen with that story arc by now. The longer she's in there the less important she becomes to the story at large.

The only thing that gives me pause is the fact that they have shown Raylan's tombstone so many times over the years. I could see it ending with a shot of his tombstone and "You'll never leave Harlan Alive" playing. I'll be ticked if Art or Tim dies.

It would seem Raylan is tagged for a 'fatalistic' path. Art was already on countdown to retirement. Tim - he could be a spinoff series if they make him more interesting/conflicted like Raylan.

From the last scene it looks like Ava is going to play a large role in the final season. I just don't see her making it all the way through to the end.
