Lloyd 27-21.

This is an interesting game. Two weeks ago, I would have said Lloyd easy. I see it as a closer game than that now. I still think Lloyd wins but they will have to work for it. And they will have to contain Beal, which isn't easy.

I completely agree with this. I wasn't sure Holy Cross would be competitive with anyone in 2A other than Brossart. However, they have gotten better each week, so now this becomes a close game. Lloyd played NCC very tough. HC played Beechwood tough. I think this could go either way

I think Lloyd should win this game however, HC is starting to put things together. If Lloyd can put together two great halfs of football they will win. This team is a year away from being even better than this years squad. Take in consideration a new coaching staff and offense is tough for anyone to adjust and this team is doing just fine. I am pulling for the JUGG's in this one. Good Luck JUGG's. JD

Holy Cross needs to understand who they are this year. Forget passing the ball. Hand it off to Beal as much as he can handle. When he needs a break, hand it off the backup (can't remember his name but a pretty good RB). Control the clock to keep your defense off the field. That is the recipe for Holy Cross 2013.

Is this game at 7:00pm at Scott?

I'm not sold on Holy Cross' improvement. A convincing victory over Brossart team doesn't point to improvement. Two weeks ago they were thoroughly handled by Scott. I think Lloyd controls the line on both sides of the ball, makes time consuming drives and scores often. Beal gets loose a couple times to keep it relatively close but I'll take Lloyd by 14 points 27 - 13.
