Lawnboy13
I will say their coach is a one tough charter, I found out today he has canceled our upcoming JV game with OPEN. Kind of late notice, don't you think. Wonder where they got that idea. :lol2:

oldrambler
Your lucky, as I have heard open is much easier to beat than Bye. Good luck:thumb: Yes, Idle I the easier to beat of the three, a team can kick it in a higher gear than Idle.
oldrambler
IDLE is even worse, haven't won a game since the Carter Administration I think. ^^ See my post above for the reason.

oldrambler
I can't wait to see OPEN's star Wide Receiver, Eddie "Wide the Hell" OPEN. He is supposed to be spectacular.Absolutely....the kid's nickname is ghost. All that have played them have had the same problem, he runs so fast you can't see him. OPEN's Coach has been quoted as saying, "As long as the Coach, who's name I do not speak, does not get in trouble for what he does, I will not stop my antics". The sad part is, Raceland has contacted coaches at other schools and they don't have film either. That coaches name is Casper, I don't care if everyone knows it, imo its about time that guy is "exposed" ! Every film that he sends to his opponets comes up blank. :ohbrother: UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! Why do you guys continue to schedule this team? Not a single Raceland player was anywhere near him and Jones had a "wide OPEN" receiver all ALONE down field. I thought that you would had noticed through the years that Raceland will play the toughest schedule possible. We dropped Idle years ago bc they were not moving with the progress of other teams. They remained in the same spot for years. Edited October 1, 2013 by oldrambler

Ram
Coach Maynard let the Scout team take the week off to mimic OPEN's offense. I heard the defense is having a lot of trouble adjusting to it.
oldrambler
I just looked at the 1A rankings thread and OPEN is not anywhere. What's up with that ?
mcpapa
I just looked at the 1A rankings thread and OPEN is not anywhere. What's up with that ? OPEN is everywhere. Playing five ranked 1A teams this weekend. Their depth is off the charts.
theguru
Your lucky, as I have heard open is much easier to beat than Bye. Good luck:thumb: Only because CovCath had so many injuries, otherwise Bye and Bye's JV would have taken a beating at the hands of the Colonels. Lawnboy13
OPEN is everywhere. Playing five ranked 1A teams this weekend. Their depth is off the charts. NewCath and Somerset also try to tackle OPEN this week. How many kids are on their roster? Must have an OPEN roster.
StraightShooter
If the Rams have any chance of winning state this year, they must figure out a way to win this game by two TD's and not continue to let opposition receivers run OPEN all night long like they did in last year's debacle. That certainly left Coach Maynard OPEN for criticism.
Ram
NewCath and Somerset also try to tackle OPEN this week. How many kids are on their roster? Must have an OPEN roster. They have OPEN enrollment. They can draw players from anywhere, they have no boundaries. Uneven playing field.
