Mayfield is giving up over 20 a game. I know we score tons but Mayfield needs to get the defense better. I'm sure the two Fulton's will help the defensive average.

Just sorta one of those nights where we seemed like we would rather be somewhere else. The game was never remotely in doubt but it was just ugly. Very little focus, before the game the coaches wondered if we would see this sort of effort and made reference to this week being the worst he recalled in some years. Guess he was o to somthing as we were uninspired on defense.

I want to take this opportunity to apoligize to Marshall County for ruining their Home Comming with the big win!

Beechwood also was a homecoming opponent this year when they played Franklin County. I can't remember when that has ever happened for Beechwood. It sure would have been nice to hold on for that win. I guess since it is a 1A opponent, you get to be the homecoming game when you play a big school.

I would love to know the story of why us because Marshall County knows better. That said, to their credit, they played their tails off against us so maybe the homecoming had them jacked for the Cards. First time I can ever recall us being a HC guest and I would think the same would hold true for bw. Had bw beat FC that would of been funny in that reguard

One of the guys on the chains said as we walked off the field... "Did you have to make us look so bad on Homecoming". 49 to 0 Mayfield. :lol2:
