If we're going to be real then we should all acknowledge that Nagle's DNA got him the opportunity to start at X. With the exception of Trinity and Highlands and this year BG, Nagle would get a long hard look at running the first team. It didn't work and only a school like St. X can recover from something like that. I think 95% of the schools in KY would have done the same thing. Save for Conner, Caldwell County and maybe a couple of others. How do you not give Browning Nagle's son a long hard look at QB?

I thought this was X's best team in years and that Central was supposed to be down...how accurate is that?

 

Talent wise we were told it was. Still not sure how true that is, certainly seems to be some team chemistry and cohesion missing that perhaps is to be expected under a first year head coach that's never coached at the school before.

Looking back I'm starting to believe the 2009 team may have been more talented.
