Kevin Durant vs. Dwyane Wade

Can you imagine the stuff on Twitter had it been available when Jordan was playing. He'd be calling players out for not capitalizing the J in his name, anything to get himself worked up prior to a game. Players would have been afraid to even mention him in a Tweet or else suffer his wrath the next time they played.

That said, I wish Barkley had Twitter when he played...he would have probably been in the Twitter HoF. Probably would have been first NBA player suspended for social media if he had Twitter back in the day.

This is why I wish boxing was huge. Think if boxers would talk crap like Ali did on twitter? Pure gold.

YES!!!

Agree. Playing with Shaq and LeBron in the years you've won a title isn't really saying as much about your legacy as he seems to think it does. I mean, they're only the most dominant players of their eras/generation.

When Kobe won his first three rings Shaq was the reason and was dominate. When Wade won with Shaq, Shaq was no longer dominant. Wade put up huge numbers to carry that team to the Championship that year.

I think you would need an interpreter or some kind of conversion to English app. to read his tweets.

I don't know. I'd be willing to bet that Barkley was using text lingo before we knew what texting was.

Shaq with Wade was not the same Shaq with Kobe. But.........

Shaq needed Kobe.

Kobe needed Shaq.

Shaq needed DWade.

DWade needed Shaq.

Like anyone really needed another reason to hate DWade....Dude is a tool.

Yeah pretty much. He's not a very likeable guy.

So I heard on radio yesterday that this was more than likely a publicity stunt for marketing a new commercial. They'd be surprised if it was anything other than that.

I could see that as well. Sad, I wish they hated each other.

I heard them speculating that on Around the Horn but even most of them didn't believe it was a publicity stunt. For one, DWade is an over emotional baby. That has to be factored in. They very well may be shooting a new commercial but based on DWade's history I'd be shocked if he is a willing participant in anything that makes him look bad. Bomani Jones said Durant sat down for an interview and one of the terms of the interview was that nobody mention James Harden. Apparently James Harden was the first name out of KD's mouth and that was when he made his statement that Harden>Wade.

What are the odds Wade tries to cheap shot Durant this winter? We all know he will if he gets a chance.
