Do you think Ryle/Simon Kenton is a rivalry?

And Ryle won the three prior to that, correct? That and your obsession with Ryle the past few years tells me you're not being honest.

Ryle won 2 and SK won 49 to 29

Remember when SK scores their next TD against Trinity it will be the first TD they score against Trinity. SK isn't even a blip on Trinity's radar.

Remember a little school called Dixie beat Trinity! :D

I think it used to be a great. For me now its just another win for SK.

Simon Kenton really has no rivals, but not for the reasons the you think UK1. A real rivalry is built on a history of two opponents playing meaningful games. Of those 20 or so prior match ups with Ryle how many have had significant meaning to both teams? When was the last meaningful game? With any opponent how many meaningful games has SK played in the last 20 years and of those games how many times did that circumstance repeat itself year after year?

Damn near forgot again:D

I was there....trust me...no Trinity fan has forgotten...

I thought Ryle won two in 2010 and again in 2011. Is that not correct?

SK won then Ryle won 3 close ones then SK shuts out Ryle last year.

Maybe SK thinks of Ryle as a rivalry, but I think Ryle would think Boone as more of a rivarly than SK simply due to the close proximaty of both schools and being in the same district, same as the Cooper Conner rivarly that has grown over the last few years.

SK won then Ryle won 3 close ones then SK shuts out Ryle last year.

One of those "close" losses was a 35-14 second half blowout in Nov 2010 where the Raiders scored 21 unanswered points in the second half.

1/2 games don't qualify as close games.

SK will win this year with Kuntz at quarterback. SK will also win the following 3 years with Racke taking over at quarterback.

35-14 was a close one?

Sure they will, and after that they won't win for the next ten years.:lol2:

I was there too Rockmom, sorry but it was a hell of a thrill for my son, me and my wife.

Ouch...

Can't we just try and stick to regular season games just for conversation purposes and not cut too deep...:thumb:

Sorry, I've seen the talent coming up at both Ryle and SK. It's not close- If Warner doesnt mismanage it, SK won't win another game against Ryle for the next three years.
