The biggest stat of the game is Robert Smith has NO HELP!

I take it that Neeley didnt play in this game. Well i feel sorry for the Owls, he left his team in a crucial point in the season, however many have stated he had good reason. I just want to wish Neeley good luck in his future, and i cant wait to see him on the harwood next year, where ever he might play. Good Luck Owlsey, finish the season out strong. Make some noise for Mr. Neeley. :ylsuper:

Tough loss for the owls in this one. I wish the owls the best of luck the rest of the season. Neely will be a hard guy to replace. But like I was once told by my coach. No one guy is bigger than the team! The team will go with out them & he can be replaced!

From what I have heard Daniel and his family have not been happy for about the past month with the direction of the team. I talked to his uncle a couple of weeks ago and he didn't seem to be blaming the players as much as other factors, but I'd rather not discuss our conversation about what those factors were, except to say it had nothing to do with Robert Smith becoming eligible in January.

Keep in mind that Neeley is a junior! From what i recall, he has had 5 coaches while playing junior varsity or varsity at owsley. He played in 7th under Hicks (i think), 8th under Bobrowski, 9th & part of 10th under Cornwell, last part of 10th under charlie turner, 11th under smith & it appears from what i've heard there will be a new coach his senior year (just speculation).

 

The #'s & coaches may be a little off but he has had SEVERAL coaches & its hard to rebuild or maintain a program with a "constant coaching carousel"
