i agree

yea bowling and smith are good hitters for there team but i think only bowling from those two could be considered for best hitters in the region. havent never really seen bowlings ability (or lack there of) to go to the opposite field, but if you give him an inside pitch he will absolutely hammer it.

HAMMER IT HE WILL!!! :scared: He is not much of an opposite field hitter. Pulls most everything RF.

Owsley has some good young players that can really step up and hit the ball hard. Jordan Hardy can hit the ball for average but really isn't a power hitter. Same with Kyle Bobrowski.

Hendrix from Leslie is probably the best in the 14th. He seems to have no weakness at the plate. Very smart.

You have to add Ryan Hall from KCC to that list as well.

i would really love to see some guys that can go to all fields, and thats why i like hendrix he can go the other way sometimes but mostly ive seen him to be a pull hitter. Im going to miss watching Chase Patrick this year, he is one of the best all around hitters that i have seen in forever, he will hit the ball wherever you pitch it. no flaws. Does anybody out there know any guys that can go either way?

Robert Smith and Jason Bowling can both hit to both sides of the field with power. They can both "go with the pitch" extremely well. I wouldn't want to ever be throwing against either one of them with a 2-0 count. That is a difficult thing to kids players to do: hitting the ball where it is pitched.

Kevin Davidson from Buckhorn is a good hitter.

I saw a couple games last year & Bowling didnt appear to want to go opposite field. I'm not saying that he cant but he looked to be a pull higher to me. Again, i just saw a few games & may be wrong.

I remember talk of lee having a 7th or 8th grader a few years ago that started. is he still playing?? How good of a hitter is he??

Jason Bowling does like to pull the ball and will if he is given the opportunity, but he can hit to the opposite field. Really he is a very good hitter. Robert is a very good hitter too. I would hate to say which one is the best hitter of the two.

Bowling is a very dangerous hitter, but I would agree that he doesn't hit it opposite field. If you throw him a fastball he will turn on it and possibly hit it out of the ball park. He has tremendous power and is a very good player.

yea in fact ive never seen bowling hit the ball to the opposite field in all his years but not saying he isnt a great hitter he has tremendous power to right but if he had to go opposite to left i dont know how much power he would have cause ive never see him to it.
