Final

Congrats to Ludlow.

Any details on this game?

Tied at 12 at half. Ludlow dominated the second half but fumbled going into endzone with maybe 5 minutes left for a touchback. Got ball back and drove down again but Brossart D was hanging tough until Ludlow scored with a minute to go. Nice Homecoming win.

Congratulations to the Panthers on getting their first win of the season. It is nice for the kids who are working their tail off every day to get one in the win column.

How were the floats this year? Which class won? Homecoming at Ludlow is a fun night.

I believe the junior class won the float competition. Ludlows staff does an outstanding job with homecoming every year. Always a big night in the city. Congrats to everyone who makes this a great evening and way to go Panthers. A good win.

Ludlow scored on their second play from scrimmage, on a 49 yard touchdown run by Jeremiah Martin, while Brossart answered on a 12 yard touchdown run by Sean Tieman, concluding a 10 play, 73 yard scoring drive. Neither PAT attempt was good, and the first quarter ended knotted at sixes.

The Mustangs took the initiative in the second quarter as Sean Tieman klippity-klopped through the slop for a twelve yard score which wrapped up a 10 play - 64 yard scoring drive, giving the Stangs a 12-6 lead at the 8:54 mark. Mitchell Cody answered for the Panthers on a 31 yard keeper, knotting the score at twelves as neither team was able to complete a PAT. A 60 yard, 4 play drive culminated in Cody's touchdown run.

Neither team was able to put points on the board in the third quarter and both teams turned the ball over on fumbles. The game winner came at the 1:17 mark in the fourth quarter as Cody again scored, this time on a 5 yard touchdown run on 3rd and goal, making the final score 18-12, giving the Panthers their first win of the season against four losses, while the Mustangs fall to 2-2 with the loss.
