September 20, 201313 yr Still waiting to hear from my son at Boyle Middle School. I guess they still won't let them have their phones. Do they still have a normal school day while on lockdown? Good question PP92, never really thought about something like that. I would imagine the teachers are likely in constant communication with security and the rest of the administration to know what's going on at all times. Would certainly make it hard to teach under those circumstances but that's just my uneducated guess.
September 20, 201313 yr Great. We're going nationwide. 3 dead after robbery in Ky. town; schools on lockdown
September 20, 201313 yr I really hate knowing the murderer got away on a bicycle. How does that happen?
September 20, 201313 yr I really hate knowing the murderer got away on a bicycle. How does that happen? I'm kinda wondering that myself. Would be pretty easy to spot you'd think.
September 20, 201313 yr Danville schools have lifted the lockdown to their schools according to their Facebook page. Everyone else is still on lockdown is my understanding.

September 20, 201313 yr If the guy isn't caught why would they lift the lockdowns? That doesn't make sense to me.
September 20, 201313 yr People are just drving through being nosy now. There ain't that much traffic in downtown Danville on a busy day.
September 20, 201313 yr If the guy isn't caught why would they lift the lockdowns? That doesn't make sense to me. Not only that, but don't you think the last place any lockdowns would be lifted is the schools?
September 20, 201313 yr If the guy isn't caught why would they lift the lockdowns? That doesn't make sense to me.I agree, that would indicate either the guy has been apprehended, or possibly he was one of the 3 dead and the bicycle escape part of the story was not true.
September 20, 201313 yr If the guy isn't caught why would they lift the lockdowns? That doesn't make sense to me. My guess is because they've determined that this wasn't a mass shooting(in the Aurora/Columbine sense) but rather a triple homicide? Purely speculation but given the location being a pawn shop, robbery gone wrong or payback doesn't sound too far fetched of a scenario for me. It would be different if the guy had gone to a grocery store and just started opening fire on anyone that walked in front of him.
