Ryle 54 Cooper 0 (Frosh)

Raiders roll tonight...solid win if you ask me. Cooper has some talent at the frosh level.

Running clock by the end of the 1st quarter.

Great job Froshmore Raiders!

Is Ryle playing sophomores at the freshman level?

??????????

Is Ryle playing sophomores at the freshman level?

No, it is a new word going around BGP just for fun. All freshman teams are only playing freshmen or 8th graders at the "froshmore" level.

the answer is no. Also no 8th graders on the Freshman team. One Freshman lineman playing up for JV due to injuries on the varsity

Maybe Walter can shed some light on how this term froshmore was coined on BGP. Congrats to the Raiders on the win!

So, against the other two Boone Co Freshman teams, Cooper has been outscored 87 - 0.

Conner 33

Cooper 0

Ryle 54

Cooper 0

The Cooper faithful still don't believe it has anything to do with the coaching? I was told the score was 40 -0 at the end of the first quarter..... Sounds like the Raiders called off the dogs early in this one.

How can you say that they have Talent while posting a score like that? If so, then what the heck happened.

While it is incorrect here, this isn't a Term created on BGP. I heard the term long before I was registered here. There are in-fact plenty of Freshman Programs playing with Sophomores. I thought I saw another score posted yesterday for "Froshmore" games.

Running clock in 1st qtr makes me wonder .

I meant individual talent. You can have a couple really good football players but not be very good as a team.

The Froshmore League and term is different from the freshman league.

Froshmore is for programs who don't play jrs at the JV level and don't have enough freshmen to field a freshman team. Instead, they combine their sophomores and freshmen for a team to compete against other teams with the same problem. It is basically JV ball with no juniors.

Thanks, Walter. Please excuse my ignorance. It comes naturally. Congrats to the Ryle frosh! Very good ball team!
