Closer than I expected. Anderson played much better in the second half. I love Ross Cox.

Ugly game with a great 4th quarter.

Following it on here. It seemed like the best game of the night.

Good job Rebels...Much closer than I expected,but a W is a win no matter what...:thumb:

Sounded like an exciting game, even if not all that pretty.

The 4th quarter was great. I feel bad for the AC kicker.

As I said earlier this week, this game would be too close to call, and I was right. don't know why AC gets little to no respect...they may not be dripping with talent at every position, but the play hard and usually competitive in the games they don't win. And yes PP, Ross is a nice player. Gets a little hot sometimes and needs to control that a little better, but he flat out competes every play and is multi dimensional, and he has no qualms about driving someone in the ground.

Great ballgame! My hats go off to both schools to get these two teams together.

PP said it best when he mentioned an ugly game. Of course Boyle will take an ugly win over a loss any time. Boyle and Anderson neither played their best game, I'm sure.

Boyle's inept offensive play calling almost got them beat again. This has been a problem for them with this offensive coordinator since he has been calling the plays. He has no rhythm or continuity whatsoever in his play calling. In the last four minutes of the game, when BC needed a first down to keep the ball, their best ball control back was standing on the sidelines and never got in the game again on offense. With 3rd and 3 inside AC territory he calls 2 pass plays and BC turns the ball back. Boyle must be at least 2 TD's better than any good team they play to make up for this deficiency. Coach French is a good coach and great guy, but why he continues to allow this to happen is beyond me and 99% of the Rebel loyal fans.

You mean the same OC who has won 2 championships with coach French?

Exactly, and with any other OC Boyle would would have won another one. I said that Boyle had to be 2 TD's better than a good team to win with him making the calls. It is a tribute to the team to have been able win in spite of this situation. If you have been watching all the games I think you would understand the comment.
